Dear SUBSCRIBER,
This quarterly newsletter emphasizes an educational overview of In Situ Chemical Reduction science, utilizing a unique voice-over narrative format designed to clearly illustrate its key concepts for you and your clients. It also provides objectively written content in collaboration with AECOM and BASF on remediation of chlorinated ethenes, ethanes and methanes in groundwater using carbon- and iron-based electron donors. Drilling even deeper, we provide a topical technical note on EHC-M®; the original injectable ISCR reagent for metals contaminated groundwater. And for those interested in the vagaries of field implementation challenges, we provide a provocative look at "The Things You Wished you Knew When Planning an In Situ Injection Project". Thank you for your continued interest in Adventus. We look forward to the opportunity to help you address your site challenges.

Olympics 2016, World Cup 2014, but first - Adventus Brazil, 2009! |
|
As part of ongoing efforts to expand deployment of 21st century environmental biotechnologies across the globe, The Adventus Group is pleased to announce formal establishment of its independent office in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Increasing demand for access to our technologies has driven establishment of a dedicated office in this rapidly developing country, to provide the responsive and consistent technical support enjoyed in others parts of the world. The business operations will be managed by Ms. Josephine Molin, and will serve as a business development hub for Brazil and Latin America.
Dr. Jim Mueller, President of Adventus Americas Inc., stated "Over the past two years, Adventus managers have worked hard in the Brazilian marketplace successfully partnering with local environmental remediation professionals to facilitate the introduction of our In Situ Chemical Reduction (ISCR™) and other proprietary biotechnologies. SGW Services Engenharia Ambiental Ltda. in particular, was very effective in getting our technologies accepted and effectively applied to remediate various impacted sites, and we are very appreciative of their support".
A number of project successes for heavy metals, chlorinated solvents and pesticides in soil and groundwater have been achieved in Brazil, some project details can be viewed via these links:
"The establishment of Adventus Brazil as an independent company allows us to better serve an increasing array of clients and technology end-users," stated Ms. Josephine Molin, Adventus' Manager of Brazilian Operations. Our commitment is to best serve the entire engineering community across the territory Brazil by offering timely, confidential and professional remedial design support and technology implementation".
