A-SOX™ --
easiest deep plume and routine deployment of Integrated
Carbon, ZVI and Nutrients. Affordable and effective
socks for stimulating anaerobic biodegradation in ground
water wells.
AquaBlok® -- composite-aggregate technology
resembling small stones and comprised of a central core,
clay or clay sized materials, and polymers. The composition,
size and gradation of the particles can be custom designed
for many different uses as a vector delivery system. Numerous
environmental engineers and scientists are using AquaBlok
in innovative applications - particularly for sediment, ponds,
lagoons, etc. impacted by chlorinated hydrocarbons, pesticides,
PCBs and heavy metals.
AQUAMEND® --
a highly efficient, stable biological water
treatment technology based on the use of
specialized biocarriers and site-specific
process optimization. AQUAMEND® biocarriers
are specially designed to enable
dense bacterial colonization, and to provide
protection for the micro-organisms.
DARAMEND
® -- advanced biological treatment
technology for soil, sediment, and solid wastes contaminated
with recalcitrant organic compounds.
EHC® -- a controlled-release,
integrated carbon and zero valent iron (ZVI) source that
yields redox potential (Eh) in the -500 to -650 mV range.
This Eh is significantly lower than that achieved when
using either organic materials (lactate, molasses, and
sugars) or reduced metal alone. Eh potentials in this range
facilitate the timely and effective removal of normally
recalcitrant chlorinated organics (e.g., CT, PCE) and other
persistent compounds (e.g., perchlorate) without the formation
of potentially problematic intermediates, such as DCE/VC
from the anaerobic degradation of PCE/TCE or CF/DCM from
the anaerobic degradation of CT.
EHC-O® -- a an oxygen releasing component that provides a long-term
source of dissolved oxygen. Native microorganisms utilize
the dissolved oxygen as an electron acceptor, and the targeted
contaminant serves as the electron donor resulting in its
destruction. The organic carbon component of this proprietary
aerobic technology provides trace micronutrients required
for healthy growth and proliferation of the indigenous,
naturally occurring microbial population.
EHC-M™ --
specially formulated metal remediation compound for in
situ immobilization of soluble metals via enhanced
precipitation and adsorption. The controlled-release feature
of the carbon provides for extended longevity and greatly
assists in maintaining very low redox conditions through
simultaneous microbial consumption of the carbon and electron
acceptors. Arsenic, for example, is precipitated through
the production of iron arsenic sulphide minerals that are
practically insoluble in groundwater.
GreenGreenssm --
applying organic fertilizer that destroys residual pesticides.
These residues may be restricting the growth of beneficial
microorganisms in your soil and preventing attainment of
maximum yields. Other Adventus formulations have been proven
effective during decontamination of hundreds of industrial
and military sites over the past 15 years. Now, for the
first time, this patented soil amendment is available to
golf courses, sports complexes, and agriculturalists who
want to safely and completely detoxify their soils as part
of a sustainable soil fertility program.
HoleBok+™ -- innovative down-well sealant product provides all the
benefits of traditional bentonite pellets, but also provides
added protection from potential contamination by organics
(i.e. TCE, etc.).
ISBS -- In
situ biogeochemical oxidation for the purposes
of NAPL stabilization entails the use of a modified
permanganate solution (KMnO4, or NaMnO4) that is flushed
through an aquifer zone suspected to contain residual
NAPL.
mGCW -- microbiologically
enhanced vertical groundwater circulation well (mGCW) technology
significantly modifies conventional GCW systems
to effect the removal of inorganic constituents
(e.g., heavy metals and nitrate) and/or
accelerate the biodegradation of persistent
organic compounds under aerobic (e.g.,
highmolecular-weight PAHs) or anaerobic (e.g.,
organic explosives, chlorinated hydrocarbons)
conditions.
Modeling Services -- Remedial
design and optimization, including: Optimal remedial design
parameters; Time required for cleanup; Natural attenuation
in untreated plumes; Contingency plans for attaining cleanup
goals; Criteria for reduction or shutdown of active remediation;
Reduction in monitoring program; and Remedial performance
evaluations.
O-SOX™ --
stimulation of aerobic biodegradation through controlled-release
oxygen and nutrient delivery. For organic constituents
amendable to aerobic biodegradation processes: Petroleum
Hydrocarbons, light PAHs, BTEX. Significant cost savings
realized through the use of EHC-O due to its higher oxygen
release rate and lower price.
SubmerSeed® -- composite-aggregate
material made up of a dense aggregate core and viable wetland
or aquatic seeds held in place with clay or clay-sized
material and organic polymers. The technology provides
an alternative to traditional means of plant propagation
in wetland/aquatic settings, especially when faced with
the challenges of establishing a favorable vegetative community
in or very near inundated conditions.
TERRAMEND™ -- inorganic
soil amendments that provide an optimized balance of major,
minor, and micronutrients designed to cost-effectively
enhance bioremediation of soils, sediments, and solid wastes
impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons, including gasoline,
diesel fuel, jet fuel, heating oil, bunker-C, and a wide
variety of other petroleum-based compounds.
ZVI PRB --
the world's leader in application of permeable reactive
barrier (PRB) technology for in situ remediation
of groundwater impacted by volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
A typical PRB configuration consists of a zero-valent iron
(ZVI) emplaced across the flow path of a VOC plume. As
plume flows through the PRB under natural gradients, the
VOCs are destroyed to non-toxic end products.
