Description
Waste Management Inc. (WMI) in the United States has
licensed Adventus' soil treatment technologies exclusively for all
bioremediation treatment conducted at their facilities since 2000.
Waste Management, which is the largest waste management company in
North America, accepts wastes and contaminated soils from clients all over
the US and treats it using Adventus' DARAMEND® bioremediation technology,
before putting the treated soil in their landfill.
The majority of the wastes received and treated at Waste Management's
largest bioremediation facility in Louisiana are from the various large
petroleum companies in the US.
As a result, Adventus' soil treatment technology has been successfully
applied to over 6 million tons of soil impacted with a wide range of contaminants, including pesticides, herbicides, chlorophenols, PAHs and TPHs have been successfully treated at Waste Management facilities since 2000.
